BJA Digital Transformation Fund – British Judo

Uncategorized

Some clubs will remember being approached earlier in the year, as we looked to gain a greater understanding of digital needs across clubs in areas of deprivation. Thanks to this valuable insight, we’re pleased to now be able to offer all clubs and providers an exciting opportunity to come forward and apply to upgrade/enhance their club’s digital infrastructure.
This could be related to digital education & any training/mentoring requirements, the implementation of new payment/online entry/booking systems, any hardware requirements (Laptops, monitors, tablets, cameras, printers, card payment devices, etc), processes to assist in professionalising onboarding services (Websites, Digital Marketing etc), assistance with the day-to-day management and utilisation of club membership data.
We hope this will not only aid the recruitment and retention of members to our clubs but also offer support to the valued volunteer workforce, by reducing time on tasks and providing opportunities to develop employability skills.
We will be inviting applications to the Digital Transformation Fund from all British Judo Association member clubs and providers (England clubs only).
Typically, we expect the grants awarded to be in the region of £1,000 or less, however, in exceptional circumstances where a significant impact can be evidenced, we can consider applications up to £2,000.
We encourage clubs to take this opportunity to safeguard the future of their club’s digital services and use this fund to enhance the club’s digital presence and improve the overall member/customer experience.
Applications will be open from Monday 14th November 2022 and close on Tuesday 31st January 2023 or sooner if there is a high volume of applications. If there are funds remaining after this initial round, we will open the second round in February/March 2023.
Please ensure you read our FAQs document prior to submitting an application.
