BLUEFIELD, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The City of Bluefield announced this morning the dates for its city-wide Clean Up Day, which will take place later this month.
Local businesses and residents are being asked to spare some time in the interest of coming together to tidy up the city for the benefit of all residents in the community.
Partnering with Bluefield city workers in the execution of the clean-up event throughout city neighborhoods and roadways will be Bluefield State College, Bluefield High School, and Four Seasons Recovery Point.
Bluefield’s city-wide Clean Up Day is scheduled to take place on Friday, April 15, 2022. To stay up to date with this event, as well as other upcoming events in the City of Bluefield, visit the city’s official Facebook page.
In keeping with the theme of beautifying the area, the City of Bluefield is continuing to accept submissions for designs for two of the city’s buildings.
Sought after designs include Bluefield’s designation as the state’s Christmas City, Bluefield State College, Bluefield High School, the city’s historic culture, and the community itself.
Compensation and materials will be provided for the artist selected for the redesign of the buildings. Submissions for design ideas can be submitted to mblackwell@bluewv.org.
