About the opportunity
We are seeking a Head, Marketing and Communications (Business and Engineering) to drive strategic faculty partnerships towards building research reputation and to support student recruitment, alumni and development and external outreach objectives. As the Head, you will be deploying expert advice and direction across the areas of strategic and operational planning, and management and reporting for the marketing and communications activities of the division. Supporting the Deans, Heads of Schools and faculty leadership teams, you will play a key role in ensuring marketing communications are integrated, brand aligned and support the University’s overarching marketing and communication strategy.
As a senior member of the marketing and communications leadership team, you will deputize and act as second in charge for the Director (Faculty and Student Marketing and Communications) when required.

Australian Temporary Residents currently employed at the University of Sydney may be considered for a fixed term contract for the length of their visa, depending on the requirements of the hiring area and the position.
