People in the UK will be able to spend Christmas with their loved ones this year, after Boris Johnson confirmed no new restrictions will be brought in before Christmas Day.
It comes as welcome news after millions had their Christmas plans cancelled at short notice last year.
On Saturday morning we will all be waking up and wishing each other a “Merry Christmas” – but what to say to friends and family in other countries?
Here are the festive greetings in other languages, so you can spread the Christmas cheer far and wide.
In French, you wish people a “Joyeux Noël”, which translates almost exactly to “Merry Christmas”.
In German you say “Frohe Weihnachten”, which is also a very literal translation.
And the Spanish greeting is “Feliz Navidad”, which you may know from the popular song of the same name by José Feliciano.
