A motorist was shaken up but not seriously hurt after she accidentally crashed a Ford Explorer into a Fraser nail salon Monday afternoon.
The incident took place at D Nails on 15 Mile Road, just east of Garfield Road.
The vehicle’s front end destroyed two panes of glass windows but didn’t penetrate the building.
Witnesses wrote on the Macomb County Scanner platform that the female driver was upset because she was on her way to visit her husband in the hospital. They described her as being in shock and bruised from the crash but otherwise uninjured.
A contractor came and boarded up the window, a man answering the phone at the salon said.
“It’s all good now and we’re back to normal,” he said.
Fraser could not be immediately reached to determine if any tickets were issued to the driver.
