A Nyandarua police officer tasked with manning the ongoing Kenya Certificate of Primary Education examinations has died.

Arvin Nzole, based at Tumaini Police Post, was found dead in his house on the morning of Tuesday, November 29.
In the incident, Nzole's colleague, Boniface Mwaliko, knocked on his door to wake him up to prepare for their examination coverage duties.
However, according to a police report seen by TUKO.co.ke, there was no response after several attempts.
He immediately informed the sergeant in charge of the aforementioned station, who immediately accompanied him and forced the door open.

On entering the house, they found Nzole lying dead on the bed. Beside his lifeless body was the bottle of alcohol, Chrome Vodka 250ml, consumed half.

They also found Nzole’s medical reports showing that he was under treatment by a private hospital in Nakuru County over stomach-related complications.
His body, which had no visible injuries, was taken to JM Kariuki Hospital Morgue in Ol Kalou town for preservation awaiting autopsy.
Police have launched a probe to ascertain the cause of his death.
