Stockbroker Wilsons hires ex Afterpay marketing chief for board – The Australian Financial Review


Wilsons has hired former Afterpay chief marketing officer Vicki Aristidopoulos to its board as a non-executive director.
Vicki Aristidopoulos, former afterpay chief marketing officer, has joined Wilsons’ board. 
Aristidopoulos headed the buy-now-pay-later business’ marketing push for over two years. Before this, she’s worked in marketing leadership roles at News Corp, Fairfax, Commsec and Foxtel.
She is currently a director at ASX-listed pet sitting MadPaws and edtech Janison education.
At Wilsons, she joins a star-studded board that includes former CBA boss Ralph Norris and is chaired by resources banker turned private investor John Prendiville, who bought an equity stake earlier this year.
“Vicki brings a wealth of experience in financial marketing and digital transformation,” Prendiville said.
“With a background in fast-growth fintech, her skill set is aligned with our focus on emerging and growth companies.”
Wilsons, which is perhaps best known for its institutional equities business but has 250 private wealth adviser and about $50 billion in client assets under advice. It’s partly owned by Craigs Investment Partners.
