About the organisation
Mimili Maku Arts is a vibrant professional art studio owned by a strong board of Anangu directors. We are located in Mimili Community in the far northwest of South Australia.
Mimili Maku Arts members include 2022 Hadley prize winner Tuppy Goodwin, 2017 Wynne prize winner Betty Kuntiwa Pumani and renown artist Robert Fielding whom most recently was one of the artists in the National Indigenous Art Triennial. Mimili artists continue to be recognised in art prizes, and their work is held in institutions and significant collections worldwide.
Whilst being a highly successful art centre with an ambitious exhibition schedule, our business remains an essential cultural and social hub for community.
About the position
Working alongside a team of Anangu art workers, the studio manager will maintain a positive and professional studio environment for use of the artists. Work duties will vary depending on artists’ need and range from general to highly specialised assistance across multiple media.
