What to do if your R350 grant has been declined – Berea Mail

IF your R350 grant has been declined due to UIF registration, an appeal can be made. This was noted by the South African Social Security Agency (SASSA).
According to a tweet on SASSA’s Twitter account, there is no need to visit the Department of Labour as the decision can be appealed by online at srd.sassa.gov.za  Once a complaint has been lodged, SASSA will verify the details with the UIF and the outcome will be communicated to you.
Clients can also contact SASSA’s toll free helpline on 0800 60 10 11.
