Crystal Palace forward Wilfried Zaha is reportedly eyeing a transfer worthy of Hollywood when his contract at Selhurst Park expires at the end of the season. After his failed move to Manchester United as a 20-year-old, he could seek redemption on the biggest stage at Barcelona.
In the 10 years after leaving south London for Old Trafford, Zaha has returned to the Eagles and accumulated 290 Premier League appearances. But he could see his future away from England beyond next summer, with Barcelona rumoured to be circling.
According to Sport, Zaha plans to repeat the significant career step up at the sapient age of 30. The Ivory Coast forward has been negotiating with Barca amid his desire to play in Spain, and the La Liga leaders would seriously consider making an offer.
Palace priced Barca out of a transfer after they monitored and enquired about Zaha earlier in his career. However, with the Blaugrana scouring a versatile replacement for Memphis Depay, also out of contract in July, his availability as a free agent makes him an enticing proposition.

Zaha enjoyed the best Premier League season of his career in 2021/22, scoring 14 goals in 33 games. And he has carried his momentum into the current campaign, netting six times in his first 12 outings as part of Patrick Viera’s exciting side.
Recently, speaking about his future, Zaha remained coy and insisted that his full focus is on performing for Palace. But he admitted he ‘didn’t know’ what his future had in store, with less than eight months left on his current deal.

Wilfried Zaha celebrates at West Ham.He told Sky Sports: “I’m happy, obviously. I just wanted to kick on from last season, so yeah, I’m happy. I’m amongst the goals, so I’m enjoying my football. How many times have I seen my name next to transfer stuff? Me, I never speak on these things. My contract is up when my contract is up – I’m a Crystal Palace player. The only thing I’m focused on is doing well for the club. That’s it.
“I take every day as it comes because I don’t know what’s going to happen in the future. So I can’t sit here and say: ‘this is my plan for this’. No, I’m only fixated on what I’m doing tomorrow in training and then what I’m doing Sunday. So yeah, I’m very devoted to Palace, and that’s all I’m thinking about.”
